Evaluation 7 Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learned in the progression from it to the full product?

When looking back to the start of this project it allows me to realise the transition of my skills. We were given a simple preliminary task to present to our teachers and friends showing our ideas and to ensure we had remembered to include everything we needed. Our preliminary was presented as a powerpoint, it is clear how unexperienced we were as a group with cameras and technology when looking back. The preliminary was very simple and consequently boring, our final piece is intense and has meaning to it.

I have learned a lot from this project. In the beginning i did not know how to use the camera equipment, i had know director skills and i hadn't experienced working against time. By the end i had learnt all three things and now feel confident around cameras. Without having the preliminary task in the beginning i don't think the project would of had any structure to it and therefore would have taken very long to complete.
