This is an example of an A level media thriller trailer. This video was found on youtube and recieved approximately 472 views, which proves that this it is quite popular even though its been posted from March 27 2009, in my opinion it deserves more views because whilst watching it i was drawn in by the variety of camera shots, the terrifying mise en scene and the captivating storyline which was all compiled in the 4 minute trailer.
The internet has been used cleverly to launch this video by posting it on youtube where larger numbers of people can view it and comment on it. If they like the video then viewers may embedd the the video on their own blogs/myspaces/facebook/bebo/twitter or other websites. this cause a somewhat domino affect in the sense that when the video is availabe for more people to view the more it will spread thus increasing popularaty and even creating a somewhat cyber reputation and also obtaining a niche audience.
In terms of my media production, if it was posted on a site such as youtube then it would also obtain a niche audience as its key concepts is witchcraft, voodoo, jealousy and love. It also has a teen theme so it would attract a teenage audience. the camera in our production are clearer, whereas the shots in the example are blurry and sometimes distorted
