Re-shoot and new story board

The first, second and third day of filming went well, but when it came to editing our shots the footage was very dark, blury and spacious we tried to edit the shots by making them brighter and also zoom in on certain shots to make the shots look tight and crowded but theres only so much editing can do. We went back to the story board to re-think our idea and decided instead of having a big party scene and actors we were gong to get different shots of the voodoo alter and just use that as the title sequence. We got inspiration from the film 'Seven' because the title sequence in that is just lots of different angle shots of various pictures and objects.
Filming went well I got lots of different shots from different angles and got shots of several objects on the alter.

Second and third day of filming

The second day of filming went very well, we got all the shots we needed and the shots we got looked really good when going over them. The scene we were focusing on was the voodoo scene, we brought all the props necessary and make-up didn't take long atall, the set looked really good and filming only took about 2hours and we managed to get a range of the same shots so we have more shots too choose from when editing.
the third day of filming was alright the timing didn't go to plan, but we again managed to get the shots we wanted. This time we were focusing on the party scene, so we managed to get enough people to make it look like a decent enough house party, we had the right music and the right props to make it look convincing.
If we had to to these scenes again i would make sure we have a run through of what we do instead of going straight into fimling, overall im happy withthe shots i got and i particulary like the voodoo scene.
Hopefully the editing will really help with the shots look more intense and thrilling, and the music we choose to edit in will help make the title sequence more dramatic.

First day of filming

Today was the first day my group and i started filming, we didn't get much shots because even though we had a good pitch and a good idea we haven't organised our time properly.
This week we have decided to book the camera and do some filming outside of college, so we can spend more time on our shots and have easy acssess to other props. We've made a list of what shots need to be done and where, the durstion of each shot and the different props that need to be included.
I think if we manage our time wisely then we can get most of our thriller sequence done, them start editing next week.
